Our Progress

We are almost done with this project!

As of today, we have finished with the writeups for all the locations! The pictures have all been edited, and we also have finished and submitted the project narrative for the teachers’ feedback.

The website design team is working really hard at inserting all the pictures and information in a way that makes it appealing. We are also working really hard on the interactive parts to make our website interesting!

This project definitely was a very interesting and enriching one, as we learnt more about the heritage sites in Singapore.

We also realised about how despite how certain sites were created specifically for certain ethnic groups and races, others could come to those sites too, learn about their culture and appreciate the sights and sounds of the location with them. These heritage sites really unite Singapore as different races learn and understand each other.

This project taught us more about the different races and helped us to appreciate Singapore's rich and diverse cultures. It also inspired us to promote and let more people know more about Singapore's cultures, and to break the stereotypes and misconceptions of Singapore being a "culture desert".
